KADI Pop-Up: Mural + Art Drop Activation

Kadi, a well-established local clothing brand, launched a pop-up clearance store with an industrial/street theme, for example: the groud was paved with real asphalt, and they needed a mural that complements the vibe.

The goal was to create something visually strong but not distracting. High quality, bold, and impactful, without relying on excessive details.

The main challenge was the uneven surface and irregular dimensions of the space, with a very tight time window.

It was also my first time operating a scissor lift, which added another layer of complexity to the execution.

The best part of the project was the trust. The client gave me full creative freedom to approach the wall in my own way.

The design was kept simple and direct: a background of MiG one-liner throwies, a floating robot head textured with tags, and a series of floating NY fat caps which is an element I use consistently across the entire mural to keep everything visually and objectively connected

The space transformed from an empty parking lot into a vibrant and inviting environment

Extending the Experience: The Art Drop Project

The project didn’t stop at the wall. To extend the experience, the client wanted to incorporate something I regularly do with my audience: the Art Drop Project.

I suggested taking plain t-shirts, turning them into one-of-a-kind pieces, and hiding them between the store’s clothing racks. Visitors could discover them, claim them, and take them home for free

The Launch + Results

From my side, I announced the activation through two reels: a teaser and a revealer, that I directed and edited. Both passed 110,000 views.

The first batch of t-shirts was gone on day one, which pushed the idea into a second run.
